Studio B is kept preset as a full tracking setup. The 20” vintage Slingerland drum kit lives in the corner of the live room with a complete mic compliment in place. Bass DI, Guitar amp, Guitar Iso cabinet and Wurlitzer are all pre-wired in the live room.

The front of the control room is home to the Yamaha P22 upright piano, Fender Rhodes 54, Arp Solina String Ensemble and vintage Korg MS-20. Again all instruments are patched and normalled to Neve 8058 preamps. This area also functions as an iso booth for tracking vocals, acoustic guitar, upright bass, or anything else that needs separation from the live room.

The rear shelf of the control room is often used for synths with access to MIDI and tie-lines into Neve and API preamps. A Moog Sub Phatty and Roland Juno-60 are often in place here.

Headphones are run to each station so a band can plug in and be tracking in a matter of minutes. As a production or writing room clients can move quickly and easily between instruments to capture the moment of inspiration with a minimum of technical friction.

The room can be cleared is the space is needed for other setups like string ensembles, horn sections or choir overdubs.
